Weston's affordable 2009 Winter Wine & Food Festival offers seven hours of festivities to get into the holiday spirit.
Looking for a way to taste 600 wines, but only got twenty bucks to your name? Then save it for the 2009 Winter Wine & Food Festival in Weston on Saturday, November 21st. Watch the tree lighting and bring the kids to see SANTA! I hear this guy's the real deal. Youngsters will need to show ID before imbibing in wine.
Snack on over thirty local Broward cafés and restaurants. The selection includes the East City Grill, Café Vico Ristorante Italiano, Greek Isles on Weston, Jazziz Bistro, Café Mortorano's, and The Cheese Course, among many others.
What's really great about the event is the seven generous hours to enjoy the festivities that come included with your twenty bucks. The event runs from 12:00pm til 7:00pm. I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. It really is better than shoe shopping.
Advanced tickets are available through TicketMaster. Ticket sales help support the Boys & Girls Club of America. The event is located at the Weston Town Center, 1722 Main Street, Weston, Florida 33326. Onsite parking is free.
